While the initial hype of the books and movies has since passed, the teams at Kabam and Warner Bros. These battles, however, are fought automatically and can be fast-forwarded if players would rather continue on their journey. While playing through quests, players will also be ambushed by spontaneous battles. While quests are the main source of entertainment in the game, players are also encouraged to explore the land, as this will earn them more XP and give them the opportunity to upgrade various aspects of the game. Guided by the wisdom of Gandalf, players can choose to venture forth on their saga as a Hobbit, Elf, Human or Dwarf – characters that all Lord of the Rings fans will be familiar with. As you would expect, the theme of the game follows the basis of the Tolkien storyline, as players’ battle to rid middle-earth of all evil. The Lord of the Rings: Legends of Middle-earth hones in on the already thriving mobile game styles of the RPG, with card collecting elements.
